Trautwein's ATA facility is sparkling new and features a wonderful classroom area for the students to learn and have fun. For parents, there is a roomy observation room that features wireless internet access. The observation area allows parents to see first hand how much their child is learning, and also how much fun their little "karate kid" is having. There are also nice dressing rooms and a small "pro shop" where you can purchase gear and accessories.
The program implemented at Trautwein's ATA follows the ATA principles and truly builds skills and confidence in each child. The curriculum is nationally developed and has proven results. The class activities are a mix of exercise, martial arts and just plain fun. Stretches, jumping jacks, push ups, obstacle courses, dodge ball, volleyball are added to the Taekwondo instruction. You will see tons of smiles in the classroom and in the observation area throughout the classes. Parents cheer and laugh as the students complete the class activities.
The instructors are what make Trautwein's ATA so special. Kelly Trautwein is absolutely fabulous with children. She is so supportive and encouraging of their efforts. Rick Trautwein, the Tomlinsons and the other instructors are also extremely wonderful with the kids. It's amazing to watch them in action with the kids. The positive environment does wonders for kids and their self esteem.
In an effort to develop an all around strong person, Trautwein's ATA rewards achievements outside of the martial arts classes. Kids receive recognition for good grades, good deeds and reports from home as well. This recognition encourages kids to do their best in all areas of their lives.
Trautwein's ATA offers an after school program too. Students receive a Taekwondo lesson, a snack and supervised homework time each day. There are plenty of instructors on hand for the after school program to make sure that each child is well taken care of until their parents pick them up. They also offer day camps and special activities on a regular basis.
Operationally, Trautwein's ATA is very organized. Everything is taken care of in an orderly fashion. Class attendance, payments, sign ups, promotional testing and special activities are all planned and executed flawlessly.
Trautwein's ATA is the perfect place for your child to learn Taekwondo and to grow as a person.
