If you are a woman or a make up artist and you are looking for a filler which is said to be the "next generation" for eradicating long lasting wrinkles, then you should check out Radiesse. Radiesse is the latest filler which is said to bring back "a natural, long lasting, youthful look." Radiesse is also FDA approved which means that it's safe. Radiesse is thought to be the convenient method for dealing with smile lines, Nasolabial Folds, wrinkles around the nose and mouth; Radiesse is also a great solution to lost volume for women.

Radiesse is unique in that its formula works with your body; below the surface of your face where tiny, calcium based microspheres are allowed to "support and stimulate regrowth of your own individual collagen."

Dr. Raffi Dishakjian from Nu Vela Esthetica told me about this on a recent visit and promised that this was a new treatment which showed a great deal of promise. "Over time," he said, "the calcium which your face absorbs breaks down. Then they're safely and naturally absorbed by your body." By that rationale the use of a product like Radiesse not only fills in the weak spots in your face, it can literally restore the volume of your face to give you back the look you've always wanted.

Radiesse has had results which have lasted a year or more in many patients though Dr. Dishakjian cautions against getting too excited too quickly. While there has been a great deal of success, you'd want to "discuss your expectation with your doctor."

In the event that you're worried about a Radiesse treatment, don't be! Not only has Radiesse been performed on "hundreds of thousands of patients" there are more than 4000 physicians around the world who are trained to provide this treatment, making it not only accepted but accessible.

Radiesse is performed through a simple, safe injection into the skin. This is something which is typically done inside of a doctor's office and is usually performed with a local anesthetic. With little to no downtime, most patients are able to return to their lives as normal immediately following treatment.

While many patients are happy with their results after the first visit, some require subsequent sessions to achieve the look they desire. "Normal, injection-related reactions such as mild irritation, swelling, itching, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site have been known to occur in rare cases." These are conditions which are usually able to resolve themselves.
