Facebook Craving/Week Status Leads to Confusion

The Confusion Lead the Game to Be Listed as a Hoax

Karen Barnes
I have seen at least a dozen people on my friends list posting a craving with weeks statuses on Facebook. Apparently this is a Facebook status game that leaves people confused what has going on, especially when you know some of the people aren't pregnant.

One commenter on one status update even said she was going to have to Google this very thing to see what was going on. From that comment, it left me wondering if she was as confused as I was about the situation.

Figuring it wasn't a bad idea, I decided to do the same thing. Several search returns came up. One was for Yahoo! Answers where apparently someone was wondering what the heck was going on too. Seems some women are getting mad when someone asks about it because they are pregnant. "¨"¨When Facebook friends see so many status updates coming in like this, they do have to wonder what is going on. Could you imagine some thoughts running through people's minds when within a five minute period, just as many of the craving and week posts start cropping up.

I did find something that explains the whole Facebook Craving/Status update shenanigans. This leads to a note I started getting updates on the conversation about today. Again, this confused me. Of course, some days it doesn't take much to do that.

Thatsnonsense.com was another search return that came up after the Yahoo! Answers list of posts about this subject. There they explain the whole thing. It does make for an interesting game for those who aren't pregnant. For those who are, it can lead to misunderstandings and hurt feelings. Then there are pregnant women who have a sense of humor and play along with their friends.

Even on their site, it is listed as a hoax because the poster made a statement that about the rumor it was supposed to be set up for Breast Cancer Awareness. For this Facebook participant, I whole support Breast Cancer Awareness. In the case of the Crave/Week came, just load me up with the months worth of junk food listed and we'll call it good.
