Okay, here's how to take care of the Indexing to Google and other search engines. It's simple.
The Facebook Indexing Google message says that to change it there are just a few step. You should go to settings, then privacy settings and then search. Then it suggests you should unclick the box that says "Allow Indexing". See, now that wasn't that hard was it?
Is it a bad thing that Facebook is Indexing to Google and other search engines? It certainly is a concern for some who don't want their personal information allowed or shared on search engines. The Facebook indexing to Google and other search engines can be easily blocked by changing the settings. At least that's what the note I got said. Who knows if some of my personal Facebook information will be resting in the hands of mysterious onlookers in cyberspace or not when it comes down to it.
There are always new privacy setting for a social network like Facebook so make absolute sure you pay attention to messages concerning your privacy if it's a big deal. If you really want to make sure no one ever sees your private info then follow this simple rule of thumb: Don't type it on a computer on a social networking site to begin with!
