Facebook and MyYearbook Social Networking Sites: How Their Games Can Lead to Lots of Fun or Compulsive Addictions

Jenny Heart
Face book and MyYearbook.com are social networking sites that allow people to connect with one another. Playing games is one way for them to socialize and spend some fun time together.

Games are indeed entertaining to say the least. These games have their benefits and draw backs. Here are a few benefits, and drawbacks, from taking these games too seriously.

Benefits:

* Helps memory and concentration

* Gives people a source of entertainment.

*Provides healthy competition.

* Free time for themselves.

These are just a few benefits in my opinion. A few of the drawbacks are:

* Playing games until too much tension builds up in their mind.

* No time for other things that are important.

People who love to play games may become addicted to these types of entertainment. They love the thrill of a great challenge even more than someone who enjoys an occasional thrilling game. They all want to play as many games as possible before going to bed. They tend to seek out as many new games as possible each and every day.

Facebook and MyYearbook are just a few of the social networking sites that I'm familiar with. It's like the Lay's commercial; 'Bet you can't eat just one'. This saying is more real than you think when talking about addictions from just about anything.

People who have addicted personalities should set times limits when enjoying their time playing games of any kind. Playing games can be beneficial as I've mentioned above. Just beware of the side effects from playing games for too long. These games are thrilling; however, remember to play games in moderation or it will take a toil on the mind and body.

Face book and MyYearbook in my opinion have many great games. Many try your patience and skills to the limit; always wanting you to beat the highest score for the day.

Always remember that any types of fun entertainment can be harmfully addictive if not evaluated in the right perspective.

What are you waiting for I may have just challenged you? Remember to stop the clock every so often and spend time with your family, take a walk, or call a friend. Face book and MyYearbook have great games to challenge our competitive nature. Remember, do so in moderation and enjoy the games.

    It's so easy to waste an hour plowing through these things. I can get sidetracked too easily.

    I play one game on a very limited basis. I don't have time for games!
