Camry has been in production since 1980 and was brought to India in 2002. It has received several awards including the best selling cars across several countries in India.

The new facelifted Toyota Camry was first shown at the 2009 North American International Auto Show. The changes on Toyota Camry will mostly be on the exterior and minor changes will be effected in the cabin.

The changes in the new Toyota Camry include a new front grille, new headlights, new foglamps, indicators on the mirrors, an option for 10 spoke alloy wheels and Aux input system for external audio sources. Apart from the existing five colours, the new Camry will be available in two colours like Dark Green Mica Metallic and Beige Mica Metallic. It is expected that Toyota will make only 400 of these cars for India for the remaining part of the 2009.

Apart from Camry, Toyota currently sells Corolla Altis, Innova, land Cruiser, and Land Cruiser Prado.
