Apple Face Mask
Ingredients:
1 medium size apple (grated)
5 tablespoons of honey
Directions - Mix together the grated apple and honey to make a mask. Smooth over the face and neck. Leave on for 10 minutes, than rinse off with cool water.
Cornmeal and Honey Scrub
Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon water
1 teaspoon honey
Directions - Combine all of the ingredients and mix together thoroughly. Allow to thicken for 1 minute. Massage onto face and neck. Leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Good for most skin types. If you have sensitive skin, this product may be to harsh for you.
Honey Mask
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of half and half cream
Directions - Mix together with a fork. Smooth over the face and neck. Leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse off in very warm water. Follow up with the honey toner (below)
Honey Toner
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of honey
1 cored and peeled apple
1 tablespoon of Sweet Almond Oil
Directions - Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree for about a minute. Smooth over the face and neck. Leave on for about 12 minutes. Rinse with cool water.
Facial Toner (for all skin types)
Ingredients:
Add 4 drops of Lavender essential oil
to 1/2 cup water.
Directions - Shake well before using. Apply to a clean face with a cotton ball.
PEACH TIGHTENING MASK
Ingredients
1 Peach, ripe, peeled, pitted
1 Egg white
Directions - Whip peach and egg white together in a blender until smooth. Smooth over the face and neck. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
STRAWBERRY DRAWING MASK
Ingredients:
1/2 c Strawberries, very ripe
1/4 c Cornstarch
Directions - Mix strawberries and cornstarch together to make a paste. Apply to face, avoiding the delicate area around your eyes. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
Please note: If you are allergic to any of these ingredients. Do not use them.
I hope you enjoy these easy to make facial products. Be sure to pamper your face at least once or twice a week and you will notice a difference in the texture of your skin. Just remember to love your skin and it will love you back!
