Facing the Giants, for Anyone that is the Underdog!

I recently was asked to take our youth to see the new movie just released called Facing the Giants. Have you heard of it? Well if you haven't then this is your moment. This movie is outstanding and really wonderful for the whole family. Although the younger ones may need a little lesson afterward they are sure to enjoy it. The acting is not by "big names" or anyone headlining, but I am sure after some of them see it they would have wished they could have gotten in on the action. If you have ever wondered "is satan out to get me?" well you would be right, cause he is after all of us, but if you have ever said "God what are you doing??" well this movie will help you to realize that you are just a player and you are on Gods field. What the heck does that mean? You might ask. Well let me tell you, this movie will slap you silly if you think you are ever BIGGER than our God. You will realize that we are just mighty warriors playing on Gods field and we have the ball and the giants are staring us straight in the face. What did David do when we was up against Goliath? He only had a sling shot and a rock and you know what he played God's game and defeated the giant. That is the whole premise of this movie, although I guarantee you walk away catching many of the other parables in the movie.

It is a modern way of using Gods teachings. God used parables to help us simple folk understand and so does this movie. You will understand why the path is narrow, you will understand why we have to keep our eyes on our Father, and you will also learn that ALL THINGS are possible with God. Sometimes we all have moments in which we think that God or satan has it out for us, well let me say this; satan WILL get you if you do not play Gods game. Playing Gods game will rally you straight to the top of anything it is you wish to accomplish. This small town football team is going to fly through the nations via this film and I must say very soon they will have sown so many seeds into Gods field that before long God will have the most amazing turf around with some of the strongest most successful players around. Please check your local theaters and take your town, your team, your students, your church, or just your family out to see this movie. I promise it will not disappoint. Christian or not you will walk away with a new heart when you leave the theatre. I will pray for you as you go to venture out and see this amazing flick.
