This is where all the fact and fiction starts to come into play.Today's world of tattoos.Hear are some questions and story's that have been put out there and I am going to tell you if it is fact or fiction.
How do you choose the right place to get a tattoo ? First you want to find out if it is a legit business. When you enter in the business look for cleanness.Check out the bathroom if it is a dirty bathroom you can walk right out.Even the artist has to go and you cant tell if he washed his hands are not.
Fact - When a artist starts working with you he should wash his hands in front of you and apply some type of sanitizer.
Fiction -- Washing your hands with soap is good enough.
How do you know if the needle is good? If you sit down and the needle is already in the machine.Walk away.Or ask for a new one.
Fact -- A good artist will bring out the needle in a vacuum sealed bag.He will ask you to look over for any holes or tears.
Fiction - You take the word of the artist. You can but thats just playing a game with your life..
Can you get Aids from a tattoo? In general you can not get aids just from a tattoo. There are other cautions that should have come into play. You can however get aid s from a dirty needle.

Fact -- Artist is human and can have mistakes. No one is perfect..
Fiction--You are stuck with the mistake for the rest of your life. Not true the artist most likely will fix it for you.In rare cases you may have to find a another artist and they can do what is called a cover-up..
If I get a tattoo and I end up hating it am I stuck with It? No there are lots of options for you to do.Matter of just choosing which one you want to do.
Fact-- You can have a tattoo removed with Lazar surgery or you can have the tattoo covered up by another tattoo.
Fiction--Cut open and pour bleach into it.Heard this by several people. No this does not work.Doctors say it will even cause you so much pain that you will pass out.Guess what when you wake the tattoo will still be there.
Getting a tattoo should have some type of meaning to it.You shouldn't just go out and pick one out and have it done.Think long and hard before you have it done.Just for the record it is cheaper to get a tattoo done than it is to have it removed.Or even have it covered up.
Just remember when you walk in to the parlor check out everything before you sit done and get a tattoo. If the artist tells you that it is okay to drink.Get up and walk out.The law states the can not give someone a tattoo that has been drinking.
Good luck and choose wisely. This will last you a life time!!!
