How about evolution, or Christians' lack to accept? These Christians who put their faith and belief in things that have never, and will never, be proven, are in complete denial about the hard, scientific proof of Darwin's Theory of Evolution. I find that to be both hilarious and sad, at the same time.
Speaking of no proof of religion, wouldn't there be some sort of physical evidence of any of the stories from the Bible? Yeah, people claim that a piece of Noah's Ark, or some other religious artifacts from the Bible, have been found, but have these pieces of Bible history ever really been scientifically proven to be from the same era they claim to be?
Creation theories anybody? The Big Bang Theory is too far fetched, but one all-powerful being created everything in a week, according to the Bible, and that sounds perfectly logical. And how did any of the number of author's that may have written Genesis actually know what happened? Maybe God used to grant interviews, you know, back when he used to talk to people like Moses and tell them to do his bidding. Who's he talking to now? The nut jobs walking around the streets of New York waving Bibles, that's who!
I want all of you to grab your Bible for me. Look at the side and see what version you have. Most people have the King James Version of the Bible since that is the most sold version of the Bible. Does anybody know for sure why it is called that? I've heard a million different reasons, but most of them lean towards one central idea. King James was a king, way back when, who wasn't happy with the Roman Catholic Bible and their religion. He thought things should be different than what they were, so he changed them. He had versions of the Roman Catholic Bible edited and changed to more fit what he believed about religion, or wanted other people to believe about religion. Now, there is no way to actually know if this is even remotely true or not, but religious zealots have gotten into very heated arguments with me over this.
There is also the belief by many that God is nothing more than an egotistical maniac who only cares about acquiring followers. Of course he wants people to believe in him and his word, that's a given. But to not care about the kind of person you are. It doesn't matter so much as to who you are, but more about who you believe in. That just doesn't make any sense.
Wisconsin's very own, Jeffery Dahmer, may have found religion and felt truly sorry for all the atrocities he committed before he got beat to death with a broom handle in the prison shower, and as long as he asked for forgiveness, he has his ticket to Heaven. But some gays, non-believers, or any other persons automatically deemed to burn in Hell, stand no chance. How does a man who kills, rapes, then eats his victims stand a better chance of getting into Heaven than a guy who likes other guys?
As I said, this was just a very brief article on the giant scam that is organized religion. I strongly feel that religion was only created so people had a reason to be good in life, because without the reward or punishment at the end, why even obey any laws? And without something to look forward to, what the hell is the point anyways? Why even try to stay alive? These are just a couple of the reasons man created God.

Post a CommentAmen, to what Michael said. This is NOT professional writing. This is blogging. Sentence fragments, horrible grammar, no structure, and a recycled idea.
I see in your profile you are quite egotistical bragging about a 3.9 GPA which is not a feat, but your responsibility to uphold. You also claim you are very good at writing, etc. I am not impressed with anything you have written, as nothing I have seen has unique, or original content or thought process. Additionally, your format, and structure is as loose as a Myspace blog. I think you should stick to business management and leave writing to the more intelligent professionals.
Alright, Joshua. I believe in MANY things, about how humans got to where they are today. I am a christian, and I believe in Genesis, but I also look at many historical and scientific things, as well as, theories on evolution. I think your article is ignorant and childish, and very much a representation of facts and opinions you heard OTHERS spouting off prior to your own writing. You are not approaching your title, instead claiming Christians are ignorant for having their own theory on evolution and not being open to another. However, that is hypocritical. No christian claims to know the origin of GOD himself. Just believe the theory taught to them that cannot be disproved either. I would advise in future writings that you take on a more respectful tone whether it has anything to do with what I believe or not. You sound basically like a defiant teenager who is using sarcastic questions with no structure, rather than an educated respectful writer who deserves our attention. Good luck.
Thank you for your correction, Angel. Just after this article went live I noticed my mistake and unfortunately Associated Content does not generally allow article corrections.
I just wanted to say that I agree with what you have stated in this article but I did find something that you may want to correct. Charles Darwin has no theory of Evolution, he has a theory of Natural Selection. His grandfather however is the man who came up with the theory of Evolution. Evolution is a proven fact. All it is described as is "change over time". It is not described as Humans evolving from apes or anything of the sort. And we have all witnessed change over time, such as species becoming extinct. The theory of natural selection is just a theory, as is gravity and electricity. We all know that it exists, it's just that no one can prove how or why.
Joshua, it sounds like you have a lot of questions to be answered. I doubt those answers will come from the "giant scam that is organized religion". I understand your reasoning behind that statement and can't argue much on that point. The good news though, is that our God and His son Jesus Christ are not religious! Unfortunately people that choose to follow Him sometimes are. In the process they mislead a lot of people and put a bad taste in our mouth for Christianity. Don't seek answers from man or human sources. You make a lot of harsh statements but it's obvious your knowledge of Christianity is very little. I challenge you to go directly to the source. The Bible. Truly, truly, all the answers you seek lie in that book. I know, I once held similar views as you. I read the book. I will always have questions concerning God and His ways but I got the big ones covered. I know where I came from, I know why I'm here, and I know where I'm going. That brings assurance beyond belief.
Chelsea, dearest, the theory of evolution never claimed that humans evolved from monkeys. It has to do with mutations changing something over time.
Quote from Chelsea:
I believe evolution is true concerning, there is a group of people living in a hot windy desert for over a million year, i believe that maybe they started being born with tougher skin, and better sweat glands. but i do not believe that there once was a person who was one day born from a monkey if so,,, why are there still monkey's wouldn't they all have evolved into people? it is rediculous to believe also that our brains are evolving. because they are not. it is called learning. you do not see monkey's giving birth to intelligent human beings you just dont. you would have to be part ape to believe that. and you also do not see dogs giving birth to litters of kittens either. it just doesn't happen one species stays the same all throughout time. they might look different according to evolution but they stay the same species"
This may just be the stupidest thing I've EVER read.
Of course dogs can spontaineously give birth to kittens! You'd have to be dumb as
You mention that Christians are "in complete denial about the hard, scientific proof of Darwin's Theory of Evolution." When evidence exists that unequivocally proves a proposed theory to be true, it is no longer referred to as theory. Scripture says: "And He said to me, 'It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.'" (Rev. 21:6-7) Jesus Christ is Lord whether men want Him to be or not, and if we are not with Him then we are against Him. Please reconsider, those of you who now oppose Him!
Good article, I just have to take issue with your last paragraph. There are many reasons to obey laws, to stay alive, and to be a "ggod person" without the yoke of religion. The Atheist that leads a good life is the most "moral" person there is.
