Facts About Twilight Heartthrob Robert Pattinson

Robert Thomas Pattinson, was born on May 13, 1986 in London England and is best known for playing Edward Cullen in the blockbuster hit film, "Twilight", which is based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer. Pattison also played the role of Cedric Diggory in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". Pattison currently resides in Los Angeles.

Pattinson appeared in the 1994 film "Vanity Fair" in the role of Randy Crowley; the 1994 television film, "Ring of the Nibelungs" playing the role of Giselher; 2005 film "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" as Cedric Diggory; 2006 television film, "The Haunted Airman" playing the role of Toby Jugg; 2007 television film titled, "The Bad Mother's Handbook" playing the role of Daniel Gate and made an appearance in the 2007 film "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" reprising his role of Cedric Diggory; appeared in the 2008 film "How to Be" playing the role of Art; starred in the 2008 blockbuster hit, "Twilight" playing the role of the handsome and seductive vampire, Edward Cullen. Pattinson starred in two other films in 2009; "Little Ashes" playing the role of Salvador Dali; and reprised his role of the handsome vampire Edward Cullen in the 2009 blockbuster "Twilight" hit sequel, New Moon. He is set to star in two upcoming movies in 2010; "Remember Me" playing the role of Tyler Roth and "Eclipse" which another sequel to the Twilight" series.

In 2008, People Magazine named Pattinson as one of the "Sexiest Men Alive" and also by Glamour magazine in 2009 through a poll which was held by the magazine. Pattinson loves to play his guitar as well as the piano.

The latest Twilight saga: "New Moon" opened in theaters on November 20, 2009 and racked in $142.9 million dollars in the United States the first weekend of the debut. The first "Twilight" movie's debut was on November 22, 2008 and racked in $32 million dollars.
