Kristen Jaymes Stewart was born on April 9, 1990 in Los Angeles, CA. She has an older brother, Cameron. Her dad is John Stewart and he is a stage manager and television producer and her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart, is a script supervisor and orginally was from Maroochydore, Queensland, Australia.

Stewart is best known for her role in the blockbuster vampire movie "Twilight" playing the role of Bella Swan. She also reprised the role in another "Twilight" film, "New Moon" which opened in theaters on November 20, 2009 and will reprise the role once again in the next "Twilight" saga called "Eclipse" which is due out in 2010. Stewart is scheduled to star in several other films in 2010.

Kristen's acting career started up when she was only eight years old when she had a non-speaking role in the film "The Thirteenth Year" and after that, she appeared in the movie, "The Flintstones in Via Rock Vegas". In 2001, Kristen played the role of Sam Jennings in the movie, "The Safety of Objects"; played the role of Sarah Altman in the 2002 film, "Panic Room" which also starred Jodie Foster playing the role of her mother. In the 2003 films, "Cold Creek Manor", Stewart played the role of Kristen Tilson and "Speak" playing the role of Melinda Sordino; played Maddy in the 2004 film, "Catch That Kid", played Lila in the 2004 film "Undertow", 2005 film, "Fierce People" played Maya Osbourne; "Zathura" playing Lisa; Stewart starred in several movies in 2005: "The Cake Eaters" playing Georgia, "Into the Wild" playing Tracy Tatro; "Cutlass" as young Robin; 2008 films including: cameo appearance as Sophie in "Jumper"; "The Yellow Hankerchief" as Martine, "What Just Happened" as Zoe; "Twilight" as Bella Swan. Stewart's 2009 films included: "Adventureland" as Emily Lewin; "Welcome to the Riley's as Mallory; "Twilight" saga "New Moon" as Bella Swan.

Stewart is slated to star in three movies in 2010: "The Runaways" as Joan Jett; "Eclipse" as Bella Swan & "K-11" as Butterfly.

Kristin currently resides in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.
