Facts About UFO Sightings and Alien Abductions

Douglas Haynes
The term Unidentified Flying Object (known as UFO); is any presumed flying object whose origin continues to be undiscovered after an investigation. The sightings of unusual aerial phenomena go back to ancient times. The UFO mystery became immediately popular world-wide after the first official [reported] U.S. sightings occurred in 1947. Since then, millions of people in the world have asserted they have seen a UFO and many even claim to have been abducted by aliens (the "grays").

Regardless of the vast number of people with similar information, most people never make an official report to avoid public ridicule. This is because popular culture everywhere in the world has associated the term "UFO" to explain a hypothetical extraterrestrial ship; this is the most popular theory of the phenomenon here in the U.S. A smaller group, known as the 'zetas' believe UFOs and aliens to be inter-dimensional beings with the intention of warning us about another polar shift.

The expression "flying saucer" has also become the term used to describe the majority of UFO sightings. According to many UFO based groups [religion based and general], the origin of many ancient civilizations (Egypt, Babylonia, etc.) are from UFO's. Before the term "UFO" was coined, a series of mentions to strangers in the sky have been present throughout history. In the past 100 years, Aerial phenomena incidents are not associated with beliefs, legend or myths as it used to be in the past. The investigators of the phenomenon, known as "Ufologists", consider all aspects of government and civilian reports and base their conclusions (or inclusions) on scientific fact. .

Conspiracy Theorists believe that the world's government bodies are responsible for sabotaging real UFO reports with a plethora of fake testimonials by people who later change their stories. Photos altered in the darkroom or digital 'Photoshop tricks' are responsible for the majority of "solid UFO evidence" presented to the public. Anyone who comes forward with actual evidence is put through a psychological screening process and any infraction on their social life is used as an excuse for dismissing the reports.

In rare cases where people have been successful in bringing this mystery to light (reports from doctors, lawyers, policemen, etc) they also report being visited by very strange and eccentric men who are interested in what they have to say after the report was made. Known in the UFO community as the 'Men in Black', they arrive [usually] in groups of 3 and begin to persuade the witnesses with intimidation and 'social compliance' techniques to retract their report. The threats are usually based on blackmail about losing occupation, property and social acceptance. Surprisingly, many people have come forward with official reports on these encounters with the M.I.B. for fear of their life. Local police are usually non sympathetic and humored once the civilian tells a tale of men who showed up based on a UFO sighting or alien abduction experience.

Let me guess, all of the people that commented that they aren't reall are Jesus freaks? Scientifically, the chances of intelligent extraterrestrial life existing and the chances of God existing are about 3.45x10^37 to one.
