If you feel that you are the only woman standing in your bathroom turning the stick every which way but loose and still not knowing what it says - you're not alone! I have had three babies and came across the ole faint pink line with my second baby. I just recently suspected I may be pregnant again, even though my husband and I use condoms for all of our intimate encounters. I did exactly what you have just done, I read the instructions carefully, carried out the steps and waited. Lo and behold here come the lines... one bright.. one ever so faint that I feel as though I'm losing my mind rather than confirming a pregnancy!
Many blame the pregnancy test factories. The vapor lines on the pregnancy test usually are to blame for false positives because they do tend to resemble that of a positive reading. But you don't care about that right now, do you? All you care about is whether or not you're pregnant and you're still no closer to the truth trying to decipher the faint pink line!
I feel your pain, I do. The best advice for this scenario is to test again in the morning (when your urine is most concentrated and may have the greatest amount of the HcG hormone indicating pregnancy) or wait a few days and retest. You may do what I'm about to do- buy a pregnancy test from a completely different company and see what that yields! Good luck to us all! Perhaps someday our answers will be easier to recognize.

Post a CommentYikes! I had to do a 24-hour 'catch' before (twice actually) and it was not any fun.
I feel your pain, I guess, but you STILL have it better than us old ladies who had to trek off to the doctor's with a baby food jar of morning urine!
