In recent years, Fair St. Louis replaced the week long VP Fair in downtown St. Louis. The shorter fair costs less, causes less damage on the St. Louis riverfront, and allows for more quality entertainment.
In previous years, the Eads Bridge was closed during Fair St. Louis and transformed into the Eats Bridge, which allowed Fair patrons to walk the bridge and purchase a variety of St. Louis' favorite foods. This year, the Eads Bridge will remain open for vehicle traffic. The same great traditional Fair foods can be found throughout the fairgrounds.
Fun family activities are provided by the St. Louis Rams cheerleaders, the Magic House, the City Museum, jugglers, and musical acts.
If traveling by Metrolink, use the Laclede's Landing station for easy access to the main stage. Admission to the grounds and concerts is free. No coolers or pets (except service animals). Alcoholic beverages must be purchased on the fairgrounds and cannot be brought into the fair.
