I usually shop here on a weekly basis. I buy mostly indie comics or trade paper backs here. The trade selection is amazing and they carry more indie comics than anywhere else in Fairfax County. The shirts and posters are usually always the same. Sadly they don't carry any back issues. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about comics and gaming.

E.G. Comics has a massive back issue selection and if you ask the guy running the shop he'll even pull stuff out of the back for you if he has it. They also buy comics that you no longer want, but they are picky so they probably won't buy your entire collection. I go here whenever I need a hard to find comic or want to sell some.

I get my subscription comics here because it was simply closer to my house when I moved here. They carry most everything you would want and if not they can order it for you. Some orders can take forever though. Sadly they do not bag and board your comics when you subscribe. I like this store but wish it carried more indie comics. The staff can be very helpful but other times they have complete gaps in knowledge so they have no idea what you're asking.

This is a mini comic convention in a Fire House. Sometimes it's huge other times its dead, but you can usually find some good deals on new and old comics. Stuff from a month ago will be a buck a piece because no one bought it at their comic shop. Great bootleg DVD selection as long as you're looking for something sci-fi or comic book related. You can also make deals with the people running the tables so if you're a big spender this could be for you. Also comic collects like trades or graphic novels are usually half off.
