Bronze Your Skin

Fairy or faery looks begin with bronze skin. Apply your foundation makeup as you normally would be apply bronzing powder all over the face and neck. Use a large bronzing brush to put on this tinted powder. If you plan to show more than a little skin, you should a self tanning lotion to the rest of your body if your skin is light. You could skip the bronzing step if you intend to be an ice or winter fairy.

Shimmery Makeup

Buy eye makeup that contains shimmer and frost. Sparkling makeup will give you the look of wearing fine fairy dust. Even a gel makeup with fine glitter for the skin will work nicely. Pick a colored mascara to match your eye makeup colors. Alternatively, you could buy colored eyelashes and apply them for instant fairy glamour. Use three shades of colors on your eyes. The darkest color goes on the lid. The second goes between the brow bone and the lower lid. The lightest color goes under the brow bone.

Fairy Trail

Draw some connected scrollwork to the side of your face, touching your eye. Use a metallic eye pencil with a wide tip to get the prettiest result. Paint on some face glitter using an eyeshadow brush or a cotton swab. Mix a little face glitter with your bronzer and brush it on your face and neck.

Fairy Lips

Leave your fairy lips natural or bronze. This will keep the focus on your eyes rather than the rest of your face. You may wish to use color on your lips if you are dressing as a winter fairy. Pale skin against a deep burgundy lipstick is magic looking.
