I know that fairy tales are not true
And a frog will never turn into a prince
But I'll continue to be naive
I'll continue to believe in true love
Maybe a kiss won't heal everything
And a beast on the outside
Is just a beast on the inside
Who's content with being a beast for life
But I'll still love the beast
And hope the beast is more
Than what meets the eye
Under the morning's light
Maybe the evil step sisters
Will get the man in the end
And Cinderella will keep cleaning
Until the birds stop singing
And the mouses destroys
The last of her dreams
But I'll clean with hope
That my prince will come
With a glass slipper in hand someday
I know that fairy tales are not true
And a frog will never turn into a prince
But I'll continue to be naive
