Faith

On her classroom wall

I remember it so clearly

It had a little grey kitten

Hanging by its paws on a washing line

It read

"Faith isn't faith until it's all your holding on to"

I never realised until this very year

How right that little kitten was

Because when you are in a position

Where you have to have complete faith

It's a scary place

You have no knowledge of what might happen

No control

You hand over any power you have

To something

Or someone

You know nothing about
