Fake tan spray on vs rub on.

Fake tans can give you a healthy glow and make you look more toned and thinner, getting them done professionally can be pricey, but doing them yourself can be tricky, particularly if you have never done them yourself before!

Below is a guide to help you decide which fake tan is right for you.

Spray on tans are a relatively recent product on the market, they claim to be easier and more convenient than rub on tans.

Advantages:

With most of them, there is no need to rub the tan in.

They are quick drying.

Good quality tans have a specially designed nozzle for the hard to reach places.

Less risk of streaks.

More even tan.

Disadvantages:

Not all sprays have the special nozzle.

Requires practise to get an even tan.

Some require rubbing in.

Rub on.

Advantages:

Larger choice of products.

Better control of application.

Many have moisturising properties

Disadvantages.

Bigger risk of streaks

Take slightly longer to dry

Application is trickier.

Appreciated! I want to check out your other articles, seems like you know plenty about tanning products. I have to use fake tanning products as I have fair skin, burn easily.

I used to go to a tanning bed, now I just use a tanning lotion. To me its less harsh on the skin.
