Fall 2010 Beauty Trends

Take these runway beauty trends home with you and make them your own. You will look beautiful and stylish no matter where you go.

Controlled Waves

Put away your hair straightener, at least part of the time, because sexy waves are back. Not the free, devil-may-care kind of waves but controlled waves that looks natural. Keep hair unbound and loose. Wind about ten different 1-inch sections of hair around the barrel of a hot curling iron. Brush the curls to make them waves. Spray them in place.

Lips Matter

Try lips two ways. Go completely pale and make your eyes the star of your fashion look or get a bright yet matte red lip look. For a pale look, use a skin toned lipstick and a neutral lip liner. For this year's fall red, pick a red without any pink, orange or blue undertones. Go for straight red.

Hot Buns

Bunned hair is hot this year so invest in some bobby pins or designer hair sticks for this cool look. Sweep clean hair into a bun and place it at the back of your head. This look is ideal for long and mid-length hairstyles.

Brown Boots

Boots remain a popular fall 2010 beauty trend but brown is the top choice this year. One must have fashion choice are thick heeled or flat heeled boots that reach below the knee. Leather or leatherette boots are the perfect footwear to go with jeans or a broom skirt.

Big Eyeshadow

Big fat eyelashes take a back seat to big eyeshadow this fall. Wear minimal mascara and try wearing expansive eyeshadow in two or three colors. Apply this fall's shadows past the edges of the eyes about one inch. Use eyeshadows that have some shimmer but not shadows that are too frosty.

Fun and flirty fall 2010 beauty trends are redefined retro that looks casual and earthy.
