There is no better way to celebrate the coming of fall than to take one of the two "Fall Color Walks" sponsored by the Royal Oak Nature Society. The walks will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. and Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Participants should park at Leafdale and Torquay, to meet up with others who will be joining them on the walks. Both walks last approximately 1½ hours.
Enjoy the cooler weather and the beautiful fall colors, both of which make these walks extremely pleasant. For more information, visit the Nature Society online.
