Sticks, acorns, pine cones, vines, evergreen branches, berries, and leaves are all perfect for this decorating idea. You can choose to use many different materials or a select few depending on your tastes and availabilities.
Start by cutting a long piece of ribbon. Then lay it out on the work area. You may want to cover your work area with newspaper ahead of time. Then lay the nature items along the length of the ribbon in a pleasing pattern. Slowly start at one end and glue each individual piece to the ribbon, Remember to leave about 6 inches of ribbon free on the end to hang the garland. When the glue has cooled you can start decorating your home for fall.

Surround the acorn with pine cones in the shape of flower petals. Then place leaves under the edges of the flowers to look like the flower's leaves. Glue the leaves under the pine cones. Glue it to the back of the cardboard to hang this fall themed decoration in your home.
