Robin Neorr
When you think fall 2009 think falling leaves and you will have your color palette. Colors such as burnt orange, crisp yellow, and autumn brown are hot this season and they can be more.

Fall is full of rich colors. The hottest color this fall will be burnt orange. It is a rusty hue that will be gracing the fashion savvy among us. It works with just about every skin tone so you don't have to be shy about wearing it. You just don't want to dress is head to toe burnt orange.

Fashion basics like the J. Crew Wool Harbor Peacoat is now coming in a lovely shade called dark rust that will make any women looked pulled together whether in jeans and a tee shirt or in a basic black dress. Liz Claiborne is making a fun high waisted corduroy in rust that will make your legs look like they go on forever. Macy's is offering this Anne Klein cap sleeve sheath dress (a must have for fall) with a burnt orange plaid.

Liz Claiborne is rocking the crisp yellow look with a stretch corduroy peacoat for fall in dandelion. Peacoats are hot this season so wearing one of them with falls must have colors is a definite do.

Mix in a little brown with the yellow and burnt orange and you have this fabulous outfit designed by Anna Sui for Target of all places. If you want basic brown you will love this brown sweater dress at Ann Taylor Loft. Pair it with some high boots and a pair of legins and you are in.

Another hot color for fall is purple. Purple is everywhere. This cascading purple blouse by Ann Taylor was featured in Harper's Bazzaar.

The key to this seasons hottest colors is to have fun, but do not, whatever you do, go all one color, with the exception of a rich earthy brown.

As for this seasons accessories, try a little bit of copper in your jewelry. You would be suprised at how fall it feel.
