Alabama is beautiful in the Fall and a wonderful way to see the state is to follow the trail of festivals that begin around the end of August and continue until the end of October. Here is just a sampling of what's happening around the state. Go to www.southfest.com/alabama for a complete list. As you will see, most of these festivals have been around for some time and have become traditions in their towns. They provide a good opportunity to see parts of the state you might not ordinarily venture to see. They're always fun for the entire family with lots of southern food. So consider Alabama Festivals when you are looking for some good, down home fun.
