Do you live in one of the Eastern States? Do you wish to plant some flowers or buy some flowers this fall to enjoy? Do you wonder which ones will bloom the best for you? Here is a brief list of flowers that you may wish to try.
Mums
Mums may be one of the most popular fall flower choices. They are quite easy to care for and come in a variety of color choices. They look lovely on patios, porches and even in the home. However, if you wish to actually plant these in the ground, be sure that they good drainage. Also be sure to water these frequently. They will quickly die if their roots become too dry.
Aster
Aster is another popular fall flower choice. One reason many people enjoys asters is because they come in a variety of colors including white, lavender and pink. Asters look similar to the mum. However, these are very hardy flowers and can tolerate dryness a lot longer than a mum can.
Sedum
Sedum, also known as Autumn Joy, will grow both in the summer and autumn months. In the summer, it will be green. Then as autumn begins to approach its flowers will begin to bloom. Its flowers will appear in a burst of pink bunches. This is why many people will refer to the Sedum as Autumn Joy. One reason many people loves this shrub like plant is that it takes little care in growing. It can even withstand dry and sunny conditions.
Caryopteris
Caryopteris is a shrub like plant. It is a magnificent green all summer long and as autumn begins to appear little bursts of blue flowers begins to open on top of it.
No, autumn does not have to be a season without flowers. In fact, it is a season filled with many flowers and many colorful ones at that. You just have to know wish ones to look for and know how to treat these flowers to make them grow properly.

Excellent, Thanks... :o)
My yard is bursting with flowers, but I don't have any of these that you have listed. I seem to be swarmed by marigolds, wildflowers, black eyed susans, zinnias and cosmos.
good job
I attempted to plant some flowers this year. Let's just say that I don't have a very cooperative green thumb.
