Autumn, my friend
Autumn, my dear
Where have you been?
It's been quite a year.
All summer long
We've been waiting for you
Hoping and preparing
For a visit from you.
Autumn, the coolness
Autumn, the changes
Why are you here?
Now, this is strange.
You're not grand like winter
Nor brilliant like spring
I wish you'd just go away
To bring snow or something.
