Neosho, MO 64850
Barnyard Days is held on an actual working farm owned by Steve and Tammy Roark of rural Neosho, the Circle R Ranch. The ranch is located five miles north of Neosho along Old Scenic Drive, once US Highway 71. More than 100 arts and crafts exhibitors are expected at the tenth anniversary festival and annually more than 25,000 people attend the three day show.
In addition to the arts and crafts exhibits, Barnyard Days features a petting zoo, horseback rides, a hay bale maze, and a scarecrow contest. Many other activities will be offered for family fun.
Music is a vital part of the annual festivities and will be offered each of the three days. A special gospel sing is always part of the Sunday events and musicians come from around the Ozarks to present live entertainment.
Food and beverages will be available from vendors onsite. Breakfast each morning is also available.
Barnyard Days opens on Friday, October 6th at 8:230am. Hours for both Friday and Saturday are from 8:30am until 6pm. Sunday hours on October 8 are 8:30am until 4:30pm.
Adult admission tickets are $5 each and children under 16 are free. Money saving coupons that offer $1 off admission tickets are available at area McDonalds restaurants.
Each year, Barnyard Days provides fun autumn entertainment and the opportunity to buy hand made arts and crafts. The celebration also raises money for local and regional groups that include FFA (Future Farmers of America), area 4-H Chapters, and an Antique Tractor Club.
More than $1,000 worth of prizes are up for grabs in the annual scarecrow contest.
The Circle R Ranch is located on Old Scenic Drive north of Neosho or from Highway 71, take the Iris Road Exit and follow the signs.
