Here is a little satin strapless number that is simply adorable in the color that is picture. The color is what really drew me to this dress; I enjoy the A-line skirt that is somewhat full at the bottom. And while I usually avoid having things that attract attention to my posterior, this dress sports a flattering one so even the most self-conscious of women can walk around in this with confidence. Plus with a strapless you have option of adding either a long sleeved bolero jacket to it just in case your ladies get a little chilly.
There is also this ball gown option with a side invert and embroidery and beading, and as an added bonus it comes with a warp to help chilly shoulders. What I like about this outfit is the look of the side invert and the fact that it comes with a wrap so you don't have to worry about paying extra for it. You also have the latte option as you did with the previous dress or you can try the "Apple" which would be a good color to go along with the fall colors in the air.
You can buy those two dresses at David's Bridal either on-line or in store.
You could also try this jersey skirt number from Alfred Angelo The length is still classy but the fabric will be comfortable for your ladies. Also the way the fabric looks bunched in the middle is adorable and the way the hemline falls in what they call a handkerchief fashion also helps this dress to be a good choice. The color picture (Olive) would be a good color for fall but it also comes in other colors like "Deep Apple" that will go perfectly with the background of fall.
If you want a different approach and a classic look, try this Bettie Page number from PinUpGirlClothing.com. It only comes in black, but I do enjoy the whole classic aspect of the dress especially the belt around the middle. Plus the dress is something that your bridesmaid can (and probably will) wear again. It is a little pricey but it is something that can be elegant enough for a wedding, let casual enough for your friends to want to wear again.
No matter where you decide to buy your dress and what type you decide to get just remember a couple of things. First it needs to be comfortable enough for them to wear so you need to keep in mind the way weather is in your neck of the woods in the fall. Make sure it is not too expensive; with the exception of the Bettie Page dress it is doubtful anyone would have the opportunity to wear a bridesmaid dress again and you don't want to hit them in their pocketbook too hard. Also especially if you go with a strapless dress think of adding a wrap to it just to help if it does get chilly. Other than that congratulations on your wedding and good luck finding your bridesmaid dresses.
