Fall Makeup Trends 2010

Just as you are putting away all of your summer clothes, don't forget to revamp your beauty routine! Every year, new beauty trends pop up alongside fall fashions and adding them into your own routine is simple and guaranteed to get you noticed. No matter what the trends are in Fall beauty, you can adapt them to your own style to feel comfortable. Like to go light on the eye shadow? Use eyeliners in similar colors for a toned down look. Love the look of bright lips but not used to wearing anything but clear gloss? Try a lip tint instead!
Here are a few of the Fall Makeup Trends of 2010:

Green shadow: This color looks amazing on pretty much every eye color, but especially those with brown eyes. A little color goes a long way, so show off the peepers by using a green shadow on the lid below the crease or use an emerald pencil along the lashes.

Berry lips: Berry-colored lips are pretty much a staple for the fall. The color also works perfectly with any skin color; just alter how much you use based on the tone of your skin. If you have light skin, use a sheer berry tint on the lips while darker skin tones can use a thicker application.

Black eyeliner: Since using heavy eyeliner isn't appropriate during the summer, break it back out for Fall. Black eyeliner is full of drama, so pairing with many of the fall fashions is a huge DO. Create a perfectly smudged look by lining the inside of the lower lid with the pencil and blink. Re-apply and blink again-it will leave your lids darkened slightly for a sultry look.

Metallic shadow: Add shimmer to the eyes with metallic shadow in shades of gold, bronze and silver. These colors not only look good on every skin tone, they are easy to use. When using metallic shadows, draw attention to the eyes by leaving the lips neutral. Keep eyes from looking to heavy by also leaving your mascara application light.
