Surviving the Cold Weather with Style

If there is one word, and one word alone, to tailor into your fashion vocabulary for fall, it should be 'Bold.' With many choices available in bold prints, bold colors, and bold accessories, there are plenty of options to incorporate into your wardrobe that will certainly fit your own personal style.

Designer empires such as Marc Jacobs, and Burberry have incorporated different assortments of bold metallic knits into their fall collections. For men, these looks come in all varieties from the most subtle chic look that can be played down with neutral colors or exaggerated for a more dramatic flair. These knits are versatile because they work for both the comfort-conscious and the striking adventurer who just wants to turn heads.

Slim is back in for men, and this applies to everything from pants, to suits, to collared shirts, and overcoats. These tailored looks provide a sleek, polished look for everyone from the seasoned business professional to the casual no-frills gent. If you had been formerly convinced that you don't have the correct body type to wear slim cuts, you might actually want to think again about trying on that daring pair of extra slim jeans on your next trip to the store. Designers have made special efforts for their fall looks to find proportions that can make slim work for any man. Proportions are one of the most important tools used by stylists all over the world to determine why or why not a certain look is flattering to your particular bodytype.

Another trend for the fall season is nautical themed clothing and accessories. Don't jump ship on this idea just yet-any maritime accessory can be toned down with a neutral, simple and stream-lined look and you can pair a subtle striped shirt with almost anything. Artful rope belts, and captain's hats are just a few examples of interesting pieces you can pair with your fall outfit selections. Large patterned prints for men, and the color red are two more examples of the bold attitude that this year's fall fashions will provide. Red accents mixed with beige, tan, black, and white will be a clever alternative for the bland colors usually associated with the season.

All of these bold fall styles will be sure to be easily maintained, for creative, modern looks that will be sure to keep you warm, and simply alluring for the changing season.
