Fall TV ABC's "Big Shots"

On Thursday, September 27th at 10/9c, CBS will be premiering a brand new comedy drama entitled "Big Shots". CBS must have some faith in this series as they have already ordered 13 episodes in May of this year. Let's see what viewers will have to look forward to with "Big Shots".

This hour long comedy drama is rather unique compared to what's out there today as this series looks at it from a male's perspective. The show revolves around four men who are all incredibly successful in their careers. They reside in New York and are CEOs which isn't bad right? They're in control when it comes to work but when it comes to their personal lives, it's a completely different story. Enter, the women.

First we have James Walker who loses his job and possibly his marriage thanks to her infidelity. Then there is Duncan Collinsworth who is the only one who isn't married but probably wishes he was after he gets involved with a woman who isn't what she appears to be. This little secret could destroy what he's worked so hard for. Brody Johns is in charge at work but when he comes home, his wife is the boss. Finally, there is Karl Mixworthy. How will he deal with his mistress and wife striking up a close friendship? All of their personal lives spell disaster. How will they deal with these catastrophes? You will have to watch to find out.

"Big Shots" has a large cast which includes Michael Vartan, Dylan McDermott, Christopher Titus, Joshua Malina, Nia Long, Peyton List ("As the World Turns"), Jessica Collins ("Tru Calling"), Amy Sloane ("Gilmore Girls"), Wendy Moniz and Paige Turco. "Big Shots" is written and executive produced by Jon Harmon Feldman ("Tru Calling" and "Reunion").

So does "Big Shots" have any chance of staying on the air? I saw a few promos on ABC and I enjoyed them. It's clever and I like the premise of the series. ABC I'm sure is hoping this will be their next big hit as it airs right after "Grey's Anatomy". It's other competition is "Without a Trace" on CBS as well as "ER" on NBC. If it finds it's fan base, it will last. Story lines could virtually go anywhere for any of the main characters. I think they have excellent casting by the way, combined with all four actors they have years of television experience behind them. I predict it will do well. "Big Shots" will premiere on Thursday, September 27th at 10/9c on ABC.
