Long Coats and Oversized Jewelry Offer Winter 2009 Flair for Winter Fare

Las Vegas is a fashion powerhouse, and once a hot fashion season gets underway, it is best for the clubgoing Las Vegas visitor to just go with the flow. Here is a guide to the hottest new fashions that should be making their debut as Las Vegas fashion shopping outlets in plenty of time for the winter fashion season. The highlight of the fashion trends for Fall 2009 are going to be in the lap of Bohemian luxury, a dark fashion steeped in oversized accessories, lace, and long, wide-shaped coats. Highlights in the coat fashion sector include peacoats with too-large accessories such as bows and baubles that seem out of place. Plaid will be a hot topic this Winter 2009 fashion season, with designers like Gucci on the forefront of a dark, greyscale plaid movement with colorless, chunky accessories.

This season, you can also expect to see lots of short layered skirts and leggings with boots. The Winter 2009 Gucci collection has a lot of Autumn colors, including reds, oranges and deep dark browns, to complement colorful leggings and textured, high-heeled boots. Gone are the UGG boots thick heels, as the spiked, thin heel takes back the Winter 2009 runway with full force. Expect to see lots of lovely ladies accenting their delicate ankles with luxurious, lapped-over leather boots with stilletto type heels to give them length and slenderize the profile of their lower leg.

The military jacket is making a trendy comeback, as retro-style military jackets from old-time armies overtake and invade the runway. I personally find them to be a tasteless grab for attention, but some designers feel that the military style jacket will be hot to have for women who want to stay fashion-forward for the Fall and Winter 2009 season.

Retro hair is the thing to wear this Winter 2009, with a highlight on the 70s: long, natural, wavy locks are storming the fashion season, as well as love knots and a Barbarella-esque blonde. The key to this fashion season's hot hair is either natural wave or teased pomp, but nowhere in between. Skip the hairspray and let your natural love show with your new bohemian fashion.

The Summer 2009 fashion season is barely underway as it is, and the Fall and Winter fashions are already beginning to disappear from the hot fashion outlets and boutique shops, so make sure you are the first to wear the hip new fashions from the hottest runway designers and visit your local mall to see the new clothes. If you are visiting Las Vegas, the Canal Shops and Miracle Mile are great places to visit for deals on the new fashions to the Las Vegas scene.
