Fallen Saints - What Happens to a Believer Who Fails?

RONYAE
We've always been taught that a saint is a sinner who fell, and got back up; but what about a saint that has fell? What do we call them?

Here's a story about a sinner who became a saint, who became a sinner:

Joseph always sent his children to church; It wasn't that he didn't want to go for himself, but it was the fact that he felt he was out on parole from the religion world: With TIME SERVED. He had been an adamant follower of the word, and a faithful attendee during his younger days. He encouraged his children to study the word and attend services of worship every chance possible, and this wasn't seen as a bad thing by the community; But they always asked the children why their father didn't come with them. The children would reply, "He had to work." Even though, they knew he didn't, and so did the other church members.

One day, Joseph's health failed him after all of his children had grown-up and moved out on their own. He became very sick and wasn't able to take care of himself. The only thing he knew of was to pray to the Lord for health and strength; He attended worship services that following Sunday.

Once after service, Joseph regained his religion and joined church; taking his spirit and wellness to a higher level. He felt close to God and knew that this was something he should have done a long time ago. He became more involved with the church and it's auxiliaries. Soon, time came around where his children were returning home, praising him for getting his life back in the hands of God; but to their surprise, Joseph wasn't showing the love they thought he should have as a Christian. Instead, Joseph was ridiculing them for not being like the saint he felt he had become. He criticized them for their lifestyles, jobs , and extra-curricular activities.

Just because a person finds their spirituality, doesn't mean that they have to force it on others. This is just as sinful as a person who stands on sin; lives in sin. No sin is greater than any other. The Word teaches it's followers/believers that. It also teaches them to not judge others, but help others. If you look into the back of your bibles, as most are offered with definitions and references to go to when in search of knowledge and help. The Word has many passages and books of the Bible that will direct you to verses that speak on how to be a righteous follower, and I haven't seen one yet that says to turn your backs on those who are less knowledgeable than you (in the word).

We see it all the time, people who we tend to label as hypocrites. Hypocrites are those who belittle others for not having that 'holier than thou' spirit that 'saints' are said to have. People, we all are children of God; None no better than the other, just maybe....I said JUST MAYBE! Some of us are better off! I say better off simply because we understand and respect God's word more than others, but that doesn't make us any better than the rest. This is just as sinful, people. In John 15, there are words that speak on how people judge one another, this is not right, and God is the only one set aside to judge.

There are plenty of characteristics of a Saint, that resemble a Sinner, don't believe me? Take a closer look. But this is not me saying that these who you may see as saints, is a saint in my book...just yours. I look at it as believers and non-believers. Because I'd rather be a SINNER living like a SAINT, than a SAINT living like a SINNER! Tell me, which one are you? Which would you rather be? And, which lifestyle are you actually living?
