A Cinquain in the Style of Adelaide Crapsey for National Poetry Month

A cinquain is a short five line poem. Adelaide Crapsey created her own style for a cinquain modeled on the Tanka and Haiku, with lines with syllables counted 2, 4, 6, 8, 2

Poet Carl Sandburg was partly responsible for the continued interest in the cinquain and in keeping Crapsey from obscurity through his poem "Adelaide Crapsey".
