Falling for Hairfinity Vitamins for Black Hair

writer441
The Lure--If you frequent black hair forums you have probably saw the ad for Hairfinity. It is a vitamin that claims to grow your hair about an inch a month. I was intrigued with the idea of longer hair. Hairfinity claims to grow your hair about 3/4 to an inch per month. Most hair grows half an inch a month, but African American hair grows little over 1/3 an inch per month. I thought it was a scam, but after doing research people were saying it actually worked. Unfortunately, the item was beyond my budget. One month supply of vitamins cost $24.

The Testimonials--the site has about a dozen testimonial pictures. All the women in the testimonials are attractive. Usually in their "before" picture the women do not have their neat, but always in the "after" picture the hair is well groomed and sleek. One testimonial is a you tube video. A woman has had a sew-in in her head while taking the hairfinity. She thinks her hair has grown because the braids feel looser. It could be the hairfinity or just the braids are old. She mentions the braids are a few weeks old. Old braids are usually looser.

The Cost--A single bottle will last a month. One bottle cost $24. The price is a huge markup. The pill is a multivitamin. The vitamins in the multivitamin can be found in a well-balanced diet like MSM, biotin, or vitamin C. If someone doesn't have a well-balanced diet they can easily go to a grocery store and buy these vitamins separate for much cheaper. For $24 a person could buy 2-3 months worth of vitamins and get the same results as if you were taking Hairfinity. Don't worry about dosage since your body will flush out the vitamins it doesn't use. For example, Hairfinity has over 800% of your daily biotin, but if your body doesn't need all that it will flush it out in your pee. Going for Hairfinity because of the high dosage is silly. By taking a low dosage of biotin my hair became thicker and stronger in a month.

The Company's Suggestions--I thought this site was full of professionals selling vitamins and teaching about hair health. I'm doubtful of that after realizing their product suggestioins dry the hair out and makes it brittle. Products that include ingredients such as mineral oil, petrolatum and silicones have the same ingredients as hair grease. These products discourage growth because of the suffocating effect of mineral oil and petrolatum. In order to get these products out your hair you'll have to use harsh shampoos that have sulfates. Their site has a section for Caucasian hair and black hair, but for black hair they don't give separate suggestions for girls with relaxers and natural girls. Taking care of dry, curly hair is much different from taking care of chemically processed straight hair.

Thank you so much for the informative article. I've been trying to find reviews for this product that provide a down-to-earth perspective rather than the zealous statements I've come across while researching background data on Hairfinity. I feel the price to pay for their multivitamin is too high as well so I have used your advice to purchase a vitamin supplement that offers the same benefits as Hairfinity but at reasonable cost. Thanks again for your commentary. It is greatly appreciated.

THE PROBLEM IS PEOPLE DON'T RESEARCH FOR THEMSELVES...I MYSELF DON'T SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH "HAIRFINITY" BUT YOU CAN DO WHAT I DID OVER A YEAR AGO WHICH IS: FOUND A PRENATAL VITAMIN WITH THE SAME VITAMINS PLUS MORE AND MADE SURE IT HAD 1000 MCG OR MORE OF BIOTIN AND DRANK LOTS OF WATER. ALSO IF YOU CANT FIND A PRENATAL VITAMIN LIKE THAT YOU CAN BUY BIOTIN SEPARATE. MY VITAMINS COME WITH 90 TABLETS PER BOTTLE..YOU TAKE TO EVERYDAY AND ITS $15.

    HOPE THAT HELPS

hi, I just order me a bottle. So will see. I also take daily vitamins for general health purposes. I did consult my doctor. Im not tryin' to OD:)I also use other hair treatments that includes organic oils like Aut oil which is awesome and pure coconut oil. That really keeps your hair moisturized and soft. So - who would like to try something new I say "You Go On Wit Yo Bad Self" God bless ya'll:)

Stop being so negative. Try it yourself. Then you won't have to assume that the people are wearing weaves. Have some faith and rebuke that devil

i think the growth difference isn't genetic, but comes from increased blood circulation from massaging scalp when washing it.
