Falling Snow

Wiley Vaughn
Feathered snowflakes drift down,
While I giggle like a clown.
Listen to the silent sound,
Of a white bright snow day.

Build snowmen, ride sleds!
Watch white horses stretch their legs.
Snow angels fly in patrol.
Down the endless hills we roll.

Wood cut, house warm,
Outside still a winter wonder storm.
Chocolate bubbles on the stove,
Memories for our mental treasure trove.

Living & loving winter here, too, Wiley! So far our weather has been so mild compared to much of the country. Sun is shining...maybe 10" of snow and about 13 degrees today in northern Michigan. Great poem. :)
