Fame and Money Vs. Justice: Fame and Money Prevail in R Kelly Not Guilty Verdict

Today R&B super star R Kelly was found not guilty by a jury that took less than one hour to deliberate. If this isn't a clear case of fame and money talk while justice walks then I don't know what is. Despite all the evidence, even as solid as video, yet another celebrity walks away from justice and back in to the glam life of Hollywood.

Fame and money talk while justice walks; it's a plague upon our judicial system that must be addressed. With 22 witnesses the jury saw only the glamour and fame of the man seated before them in the court room. If it had been anyone not world famous, it would have certainly been a guilty verdict. 27 minutes of sheer child pornography and sexual abuse wasn't enough for the members of the jury to stop seeing a music superstar. Maybe if the judge had ordered that they not know the name of the man on trial and had them wear black hoods over their heads so they couldn't see they would have been able to come to a guilty verdict; who knows.

So the gloves were washed and they didn't fit OJ; just as likely of a story here. The clincher in this case appears to be the fact that there was no mole on the back of the man in the video. Have you looked at a copy of any magazine lately? Terri Hatcher, along with several other celebrities, has been complaining that high definition resolution makes her look too old so the studio better find a way to fix it. It's called digital enhancement, air brushing, Photo Shopping it.....Hello! The defense tried to say R Kelly's face could have easily been inserted in to the video but how about this? The video could have also been edited to remove the mole. Even if the video was unedited the man is black, most videos of this type aren't high quality and there were people that claimed they did in fact see a dark spot. Didn't they have the digital software to enhance the still images like they use in the CSI television show? Come on, we all know that the software exists, why weren't they zooming in for that mole?

It all comes down to this...R Kelly had enough money just like Michael Jackson, OJ and Robert Blake, to finagle his way out of a guilty verdict because his high price attorney's were great at smoke and mirrors. Yeah for him and to hell with the young girl that will be scarred for life. I'm sure in a few years she will be writing a tell-all book and we'll find out that he paid her and her family off. Fame and fortune.....Where can I get mine?
