Famed Author Michael Crichton Has Died
The Writer of Jurassic Park and Creator of Hit Television Show ER Has Unexpectedly Died
Michael Crichton is probably best known for penning the book JurassicPark, which turned into a monster box office smash when it was made into a movie. He also struck gold when he helped write and create the hit NBC television show ER, which has 307 episodes to its credit since 1994.
The author had been the Director of several movies taken from his own books including The Great Train Robbery, Runaway, and The 13th Warrior. Finding success in film, on television, and in selling more than 150 million books, Michael Crichton was definitely a great contributor to both Hollywood and fans of his books.
The loss of Michael Crichton was said best by one of his representatives, who said that the death of the famed author was "unexpected". His writing style was entirely unique, and he did a great job of bringing a part of himself to every novel that he wrote. He will be sorely missed in the world of fiction writing.
