Families Matter

Faye Fairley
Being from a large family has been the most instrumental influence of my education and direction. The playful actions, as well as the serious events, have spearheaded a variety of harmonious activities in our family.

The prime origin of our wit and imagination was simply knowing and growing with each other. Going through hard times in our lives provided us with wisdom and ingenuity. Whoever said necessity is the mother of invention, certainly knew our family. Our humor and nonsense are products of many good times we have shared. For when there were only lemons, we did in fact make lemonade.

A great result is definite when all these factors are combined with a lust for life, a modicum of talent, and a great fulfillment in making someone smile. When life was simple, we were down to nothing to hold onto. It was then that we held on to each other. It was the simple life that made us strong enough to hold on to life at its toughest.

God has richly blessed us with numerous good times to make us forever thankful. He saw us through enough bad times to keep us forever humble.

God's abounding gifts of love and His infinite wisdom and guidance have proven to us time and again, that indeed........families matter.
