FCC Thrift is one of my favorites to stop at because I always find something, even if it's just a couple of things. You can see the store front on the street but turn into the parking lot and you enter the store at that door from the parking spot. The outside always has a few items set out that you can buy.
When you enter the store, you'll see books on the left hand side with other misc. stuff further down. The right hand side has shoes, movies, etc that you can look at.
Straight ahead is the counter where you pay. There are several things on the counter that you can look through and buy. Once you're at the counter, turn right and you'll come across a shelf on the wall that has several breakables. If you turn left you'll see more misc. used items and walking further is when you'll enter their clothing section.
The first clothing area on the right hand side is children's clothing and the rest of the clothing in the store is adults. On one of the left hand corners is more misc. items such as baskets, etc with a small area that has children's books. Though the area itself is small the children's books are jam packed and if children's books are what you're interested in, you'll have a great time going through the shelves and baskets. I only wish that they had a stool that you could sit on as my knees aren't what they used to be and it hurt bending down so I could see the stuff on the bottom.
The FCC has moderate prices. Some things seem to be priced really great while others seem a little on the high side. It is really an averagely priced thrift store. I found several books and a couple of children's items.
If I had to pick something to complain about, it'd be that it's a small store with lots of stuff jammed together and not a lot of moving room, especially at the side part of the store. But it is fun to go through all their stuff and since they are a thrift store, it is acceptable to be that way in my opinion.
Family Christian Center Thrift Store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM until 5 PM. They accept most forms of payment including Visa and Mastercard.
