Family Dollar Bath Tissue Review

I ran out of toilet tissue today and of course I forgot to buy some at Kroger's while I was there so I made a detour and stopped by my local Family Dollar store to grab a package of toilet tissue. I noticed that there were no single packages on the display so I asked the clerk if they carried 4 packs of toilet tissue and where I could find it. She pointed me to an end cap where I found Family Dollar brand bath tissue "strong and soft- great value" for $1 per package. I purchased this package without hesitation because whenever I buy a larger package of toilet tissue my sister senses it and 'borrows' half a package.

This package contains 4 rolls which is the equivalent to 6 regular rolls. It is a fantastic deal really, the equivalent of 6 rolls for such a low price! How can you pass that up?

When compared to For Maximum Value toilet tissue made by Kroger's this Family Dollar label bath tissue is a superior product. For Maximum Value toilet tissue is softer, but the rolls are much smaller, and my family seems to use a lot more of the FMV brand than any other. It just doesn't last as long as any other toilet tissue, such as Angel Soft or Charmin would. The Family Dollar Label bath tissue is not really soft, but it is very absorbent. It gets the job done at any rate!

Family Dollar label bath tissue is a very affordable and effective product. I am glad I stopped in to purchase toilet tissue or else I might have not discovered this bargain product. In this frightening economy it makes a lot of sense to shop around for inexpensive store brand products, especially when they perform as well as a national brand competitor. While this bath tissue made by Family Dollar is not as soft as a cloud, it is not so rough to cause you pain after using it. I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn't have a sensitive rear end that requires an extremely soft bathroom tissue. It is a good product at a good price. I will keep purchasing Family Dollar label bath tissue, regardless of my financial situation. It is worth an extra stop at a different store in my opinion. I give this product two thumbs up! It is definitely a keeper. Considering what toilet tissue is used for, why should you spend a small fortune on it?
