Bethlehem Walk - December 4 - 7, 2008:
The Christview Christian Church, 2525 So. Garnett, Tulsa, Oklahoma will present the 10th Bethlehem Walk. This is a FREE event for the entire family. Bethlehem walk is a 45 minute guided outdoor walk through a realistic nativity with a cast of 200 from area Christian churches, live camels, donkeys, sheep and other animals along the walk. Visitors get to participate in the nativity. Each guest becomes a member of a family that is traveling to Bethlehem to be counted in the census and to pay their taxes. Guests encounter Roman soldiers, beggars, lepers and even a host of heavenly angels along the road. "Tax" papers are stamped before being allowed into the City, which is filled with shopkeepers and dancers in the streets. There will be an entertaining musical pre-show with free refreshments furnished after your "walk". Large groups are welcome. Call the reservation Hotline at 918-407-9195 starting November 24, 2008. Operators are on duty from 6:00-9:00 p.m. nightly or leave a message and number and your call will be returned. Special needs for handicapped/disabled are available by reservation. Tenth Anniversary Christkindlmarkt - December 5 - 7, 2008
The German-American Society of Tulsa presents its annual Authentic German Christmas Market featuring arts and crafts, imported German items, food, refreshments, entertainment, puppet shows, children's story telling and of course, St. Nikolaus! There is fun for the entire family. Hours are: Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 noon to 5 p.m. Location is the German American Society building, 2301 E. 15th St., one block west of S. PSO Christmas Parade of Lights - December 13, 2008
The 19th annual Parade of Lights is a two mile long parade through downtown Tulsa with floats, marching bands, specialty units and giant helium balloons. Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Starring the Rockettes - December 22 - 24, 2008:
For three days only the show said to be the World's Biggest and Most Spectacular Christmas Show will be appearing at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. TIME Magazine says it is "The Grandest holiday tradition of all time". Bring the whole family and do not miss the World Famous Radio City Rockettes in their "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers".
