Family Friendly Destinations for 2007

Here are some great ideas of where to go for this years summer vacation or just a weekend getaway. Some are new and some you may be already familiar with. These family friendly trips will give your family some great fun and memories.

Coco key in Boston Massachusetts. The indoor water park vacation trend continues with they coco key opening in may. The 65,000 square-foot indoor tropical park/resort has it all, body slides, wave pool, hotel, plus all the important umbrella drinks and indoor/outdoor hot tub for the grownups. Hershey park in Hershey Pennsylvania. The new beach town inspired boardwalk opens in may as part of Hershey 100th birthday. Shop lined streets mixed with kid favorite games and big splash hits, wave riding pools, water slide and the worlds largest water play complex, it's a modern twist to this classic vacation spot.

Cypress valley canopy in Spicewood Texas. The eco-tour favorite of central America is making its way north. Just outside of trendy Austin, this treetop tour(complete with sky bridges, zip lines, and swings) opened in 2005 and continues to gain so much popularity with families. For a day trip, the adventure rides and wildlife watching are hard to beat. This trip is best for kids ages 10and up, kids as young as 7 are also allowed.

Jamestown settlement Jamestown Virginia. America's original settlement celebrates its 400th anniversary in 2007 with fanfare, including the arrival of the new Godspeed, a replica of one of the colonist ships. Plus, new exhibits at the nearby colonial national historic park depict the very different lives of people in the 7th century, its great learning and fun at the same time for the kids to learn a little bit of history.

Royal Caribbean liberty of the seas in Miami Florida. With an onboard water park, ice-skating rink, surf simulator, kids club and mini golf, the all new 3,700 passenger cruise ship knows hot to keep kids afloat for seven days. Meanwhile moms and dads have restaurants, a spa and a casino. It launches in May with lots of family fun waiting to happen.
