Family Fun for All!

So, I thought that I might have been the last person on earth that finally was going to try Nintendo Wii and see what everyone has been talking about. No, I will not be that person since my parents are always at least a decade behind in technology.

Well, one of my favorite Nintendo games to play is Nintendo Wii Sports Resort. This game has so many different games to choose from that it will take you awhile to get bored with it. Some of my favorite games are: ping-pong, bowling, water sports, and sword fighting. The ping pong has two different options that allow you to play the computer and try and get the highest consecutive number of hits or you can play an actual ping pong game. It is so addictive. You play one game and you see your score increase and this makes you want to play again so you can eventually reach pro status. Then once you finally reach pro status you slip up and have a bad game and begin to lose points which only makes you want to play some more. The creators of this game were genius in the way they created the levels within each game.

For instance, you can play the sword fighting game and you have to unlock different levels of the game before you can advance to the next round. This brings out the competitive side of you in which you will just keep playing the same game over and over until you unlock the next level. Right now, we are stuck on the midnight fighting sequence which hopefully someday soon we will conquer!

The Wii controller has an additional mechanism that makes playing these sports even easier. It is very sensitive to movement and sometimes takes a bit to learn how it is easiest to play each game. But once you master the skill, then it is smooth sailing from there. I myself had a lot of trouble mastering the art of golf. Now, I am by far a pro golfer but I thought that it would be easy. Well, not for me I guess. It took a few not so fun games and tons of laughs from my family before I learned how to hit the ball correctly.

All in all, this Nintendo Wii game is my favorite because of the many selections of games that it contains. I would definitely tell families to purchase it and that it is worth the money.
