Family Fun at Theme Parks in Orange County, California

No visit to Orange County California would be complete without a stop at the Magical Kingdom! Walt Disney World is a must see attraction while in the Orange County area. The theme park is divided into eight magical fairytale lands that kids from 1 to 99 will enjoy!

New attractions at the theme park include Toy Story Mania with Woody and the gang, a submarine voyage to find Nemo and you can visit the pirates liar on Tom Sawyer Island. If you love a mystery, you'll love the Indiana Jones Summer of Hidden Mysteries. And, for future space travelers, there's the Jedi Training Academy!

Knott's Berry Farm has got to be high on your to-do list while in Orange County. The theme park offers the west's best wooden roller coaster with over 4,500 feet of track. You can go from 0 to 55 in only 3 seconds on Montezooma's Revenge or take an old fashioned ride on one of the oldest working Dentzel Carousel's in the world.

On Bigfoot Rapids you'll spin, toss and splash your way around cliffs, boulders, water falls and geysers on a whitewater rafting ride. You can visit an old western ghost town or learn about native American's at the Indian Trial.

The Indian Trail features authentic teepees, native music and dance, native cuisine and the world's largest totem pole! The theme park is also home to Snoopy and his friends and features many rides that children will love.

If you're already at Knott's Berry Farm, then stop next door at the Knott's Soak City theme park. The water park has 21 different rides with a wave pool, family fun house and much more. The park also rents cabanas and offers a Birthday Splash Bash for your child.

Adventure City is another great choice for a fun filled day. The theme is geared more towards the kids and family fun. It features ten rides like Barnstormer Planes, a hot air Balloon Race, Express Train and a Crazy Bus ride.

The park also has a petting farm where you can interact with animals, and an arcade and there's a 24 foot high wall where you can learn to rock climb. The Adventure City theater features live, interactive stage shows and there's a Birthday Station.

For a wet and wild day of family fun visit the Wildrivers waterpark. The Safari River Expedition, Typhoon Lagoon, Sweitzer Falls and Pygmy Pond will keep you cooled off while have the time of your life! Anyone that loves the water will love this theme park!
