Hyper Dash consists of an electronic tagger that is hand held and five targets that are both color coded and numbered. Once you are ready to play, the tagger plays music and tells you the targets that you need to hit. The Hyper Dash tagger also tracks your points and ultimately announces the winner of the game. Using radio frequency identification to identify the targets, the tagger also tracks how long it takes for each player to complete the course.
When playing Hyper Dash, you can arrange the targets however you would like, be it side by side or extend out over a great length. If you really want to get a workout, take your Hyper Dash game outside and spread the targets far apart so that the players will have to run in order to reach them.
There are four different player settings on Hyper Dash and as your skills in the game improve, the commands given by the tagger become longer and more difficult. Level One is obviously the easiest level and the tagger calls out only the colors of the targets you should to tag. Level Two will combine numbers with the colors while level three gives more challenging commands such as triple strive, reverse, or double strike. The most difficult level in Hyper Dash, level four required the player to figure out addition and subtraction problems and you tag the target with the corresponding answer. Hyper Dash also includes the memory game mode and team relay race. You can also play Hide and Dash with your Hyper Dash game by having the opponent hide the targets prior to starting to tagger.
Whether playing solo or in pairs, Hyper Dash is a fun and exciting game for kids and adults alike. There is never a dull moment in an intense game of Hyper Dash, as you will find yourself running, tagging, and laughing all through the game. The various game modes and levels make Hyper Dash a great game for kids of all ages.
