Also, pick a dessert you might like from that country and make it. Have everyone dress up like the country or formal, either way is fun for all. Then, create invitations from index cards, which you will fold in half. On the outside, write the guest name and decorate as desired. On the inside, write a fun fact that they can talk about after dinner.
To make it more adventurous, allow your children to decorate your dinning room or living-room to look like the country. After, sitting down to eat, get everyone's opinion of the new food. Ask them why they think someone from that country would like it or not.
Next, ask them about their opinion on dessert and why they liked it or didn't.
Once, you have finished eating start the discussion, using the fun fact on your invitation. Talk about how your country is different from the country you are celebrating. Get creative, but most of all, just have fun with you family. Encourage them to participate in your adventure to another country.
By planning ahead, you can acquire more decorations for your adventure. Your whole family will enjoy participating, if you allow them to be creative in their own way. Sometimes older kids, will want to know about things that teens are into the other countries. Things like music, games, and movies may be a way to lure a weary teenager to play along.
Have fun with it and explore many country for time well spent with your family. Enjoy your adventure, while try a variety of foods and drinks. Tell you friends to join you one night or have a few friends over for a celebration. Everyone will love your idea and you can start a new family tradition.
