Families improve by teaching one another the meaning of the word sacrificing. Sacrificing for someone is a gift of love that can teach many things. A little sister or a big sister may have just sacrificed going to the movies with their friends, in order to stay home and play Barbie dress-up with her little sister. This sister, now feels important and very happy. This filled her heart with joy. The little sister who received quality time from her sister may not think she has to misbehave in order to get her big sister's attention. These types of sacrifice improve family stability.
If someone in the family has lost their puppy and is feeling sad and all alone, show them that their feelings are important. Let them cry on your shoulder for as long as it takes. You can try suggesting watching a simple but pleasant movie to ease their trouble mind. Praying with them will always show signs of endearment. These unique circumstances could lead all members of the family to chip in and surprise the child with another puppy. These lessons teach the family as a unit what's most important. These lessons teach compassion and sacrifice.
When someone in the family helps another member of the family, this is a gift of love. Families who learn to love one another are improving their relationship. It really is as simple as that. Family members don't have to spend alot of money on someone to be sharing gifts of love. Loving gifts that improve the family can be:
* Helping someone with their homework. This can teach someone the value of giving a helping hand.
* A child could save their allowance, and save it to make a birthday cake for someone in their family. This teaches the family that giving is better than receiving.
Parents and children will learn many things through out their lifetime. When love is behind every gift the whole family benefits. All family members will be happy to sacrifice for other members of their family. Question will be answered, and positive answers will be given. Love is a powerful gift. Use it as the most important ingredient in your bountiful bowl of life.
