Family Room 3

The Last Part of Trilogy, Dedicated to My Nephew Angga

Harry Gunawan
The serene cold night engulfing our family room
as I was having conversation with the toddler.
There was always a celebration
of his charming innocence.

Because he always wanted to share,
the fountain that quenching and drifting our soul.

Sometimes I wondered how to find a way
just enough to show a sign of love.
Whereas for him, this proof might be enough,
a trace of fallen crossbar
on the tip of my smashed big toe.

This is my signature of love
protected you from a threat
not long time ago.

Ironically on that tragic day,
you just stared at me
and giggling sweetly.
